A Day in the Life at Electrical Specialists

Your day is built around scheduled service calls with homeowners in and around Topeka.

At each home, you'll listen first, track down the problem, and look over the electrical system for safety concerns.

Then you'll explain what you found in plain language and help the homeowner choose the solution that fits their priorities.

We're a growing company, and we're building clear systems and standards so you know exactly what's expected on every call.

You'll have the freedom to own your work and your customer's experience without someone looking over your shoulder.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Running scheduled residential service calls
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical problems
• Doing thorough electrical evaluations to spot safety concerns and improvements
• Listening to homeowners and explaining your findings clearly
• Presenting solutions that fit each customer's priorities
• Performing repairs, installations, and upgrades safely
• Keeping your service vehicle clean, organized, and stocked
• Completing job paperwork and staying in touch with our office team

Who We're Looking For:

You enjoy people, and you make customers feel respected, informed, and well taken care of.

You take ownership of your work and solve problems without waiting to be told.

You're coachable and always looking to improve your skills and help your teammates succeed.

Beyond that:

• Active journeyman electrician's license
• Strong residential troubleshooting and repair experience
• Ability to work independently and manage your service calls
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to work throughout Topeka and our surrounding 30-mile service area
• Residential service experience is strongly preferred
